This little top has sat long enough unfinished. Today was it's turn on Gam; even though only about 24" square! I even have the binding stitched on so I can hand stitch it to the back during evening television viewing. Stitching the binding to the back of a quilt is gratifying. Don't you think?

I like the border fabric on this quilt!
This is a beautiful quilt.....and only 24" you say? How nice would that look with my toy sewing machines, I think I need to make some little quilts :0)
Very nice!! I too like the border.
Happy weekend and congrats on your finish. :-)
So Pretty! I love finishing little projects, except (confession) I am a little too lazy to do the hand stitched binding, it's all done on the machine.
Pretty and cute, and finished! What more could you ask for? Have a great weekend.
It's lovely. I love the border fabric. I really enjoy tacking the binding down by hand.
Congradulations on finishing your quilt. I, too, love to watch tv and hand stitch the binding. I am trying to embroder again for the same satisfaction!
Uh Wow!
I can't really remember what its like to stitch binding to the back. They're stacking up...
It is really pretty - congratulations on a great finish. I enjoy the bindings too. Don't forget the label!
What a beautiful little quilt. Oh it will be so pretty on a table. Love it!
Love it! the quilting is fab too!
I don't know much about longarm quilting obviously 'cause I didn't know you could put a quilt that small on a longarm. Looks great, though.
I think yes! I actually enjoy sewing bindings on. I especially like the quilting you did on this little beauty.
Stitching binding is my favorite!
Very, very pretty, Mary!
It's beautiful. The fabrics make it look so rich. Congrats on a great finish!
I love it! The quilt design is beautiful. It feels great to get a quilt done. I agree I like to do the stitching of the binding while relaxing watching TV.

Hope you have a relaxing weekend after all of your traveling!
So pretty, love the quilting you did. I find the binding relaxing as well.
What a gorgeous quilt, love the colors. And, by hand ... good for you.

I always love the colors you use in your quilts. This is beautiful. I actually enjoy hand-sewing the binding down on the back of my quilted pieces (although, I must admit I've not done a huge one yet....so my opinion might change after I do that!)
Woo hoo...another finish!
This little guy is gorgeous, MAry. I love the colors.
I love to stitch binding. That to me is 'quilt therapy'...and, THE END.
Wow, 24"?! How cute is that! Love it.
So pretty... the colors are gorgeous.
Your quilt is beautiful. I love the blocks, love the border and love the quilting. Nice job.
Beautiful quilt, and I love the quilting design!!
The paisley border is fantastic! Congrats on a finish on such a warm and perky project. Hand stitching is sometimes very pleasant---but not when you are in a hurry (ask me how I know this :P)
Oh isn't that gorgeous...gosh I need to get sewing! :)
I love the colours of this, and yes, I am another of those who enjoy sewing the binding down on a quilt largely because it can be done in the evenings whilst being with other people.
Great finish!! and yes I am currently binding many projects and it is a pleasure!!
Very cute......and I also like to do the bindings
WOW beautiful quilt and that border is the perfect touch. Yes I love stitching down bindings, in fact I think it's my favorite part of quilting.. Maybe because it means I finished something, LOL.
have a great weekend - hugs - Karen
Beautiful - You're ready for fall - how smart of you! I love that Jo Morton fabric in the border. I wish I had more of that
That is such a striking little quilt. I too love the fabrics & your quilting is wonderful. Would love for you to quilt one of mine.
Yes, I like sewing the binding on while watching tv, it's relaxing to me. Only problem I have is my kitty jumps up from time to time for petting. Makes it hard to sew & pet at the same time. ha ha.
What a pretty quilt! I LOVE hand sewing the back of the binding on a quilt... It's the pat on the back to myself for finishing a project! Happy stitching!
Wow, love it. I do like doing binding too.
What yummy colors!
The quilting is perfect for that quilt. Great border choice too - or did you pick the border first?
I came back to look at the lovely.
Beautiful!
That is wonderful. I love little quilts.
Cute, cute, cute.

What a neat quilt, Mary! Hand stitching the binding in front of the tv while fending off the cat is my favorite part!!
Cheers!
Indeed I do, I love to do the bindings!
Hmm.....I just made a post a now it is missing. Who stole my post? j/k
I really like this little quilt. Sawtooth stars are such sweet little blocks. Your colors are gorgeous. Warm and inviting.
gratifying?? OH YEA!! we were waiting for a house to be built, 3 yrs ago--I had no room to sew at SIL's but I managed to get a top done-I had it quilted recently and tonight I begin hand-stitching the binding! That is if I can stand to have all that on my lap! it is 108 here and I am sitting under fan and air and getting ready to cut a top out! I love the little 24 inch -- I am a star lover! :o) THANKS for sharing!
